The biotechnology department was established in the year 2008, which runes five years integrated post graduate program. The valid intake for the course is only 60 students. The Main motto of Biotechnology program in SRKI is to make the students to express their innovative knowledge and scientific skills for the new era of Biotechnology (Bionanotechnology, Proteomics, Genomics, and Bioinformatics) and to promote innovative research in the field of molecular biology and microbial biotechnology. Main aim our institute is to transform the students into employable and socially responsible citizens. We have competent and well experienced faculty members with higher educational qualification who are helping hands for the students in their overall growth during the tenure of studies. Students are trained for spoken English, communication skill and comprehension. We have an arrangement for summer training program and projects. Our future planes is to establish well equipped plant and animal biotechnology and tissue culture laboratories.
