The Department of Physics was established in the year 1999, as physics is one of the minor subject to be thought at B Sc level as the basic science subject. In the year 2008 the M Sc biotechnology course is established and so the department is now teaching in Biophysics was introduced. The Department is actively engaged in both Teaching and Learning activities in Physics and Biophysics and every year arranging seminars/ poster competitions.
